I could NOT do without. I confess to being addicted to the internet. Since my world is pretty small ( within the confines of my home) I spend a good amount of time online.
2) If you had to live without either heating in your house or air conditioning, which one would you keep?
I'd keep heating. Air conditioning is nice but heat is essential in this climate.
3) If you had to own five dogs, what kind would you get?
Stuffed, Porcelain, China, Jade, and Aggie.
4) If the world had a front porch, what would you do on it?
Spend a lot of time watching the world go by. Waving at friends and chatting with neighbors.
5) Would you rather live in a neighborhood where you know all of your neighbors by name, or where everyone sticks to their own business?
I like knowing my neighbors names and getting along with them. This is why I love small towns.

1) As much as I decry echnology, I have my reason, manily the MIUSE of it.
Other than that, I am ALL for it...we couldn't move forward without it, but we do need to take it in moderation and with caution.
2) Keep the heat. We never had A/C until I was in high school (fans only), so we got used to that.
3) German Shepherd, Golden retriever, Beagle, Collie, and a mutt.
4) Sit in my rocker, holding my shotgun, listening to the radio, and waving to folks while smiling.(like in "Second-Hand Lions" - good movie)
5) I already live in a "neighborhood" where everyone ignores you (while they also disrespect you for no reason), and I've also lived where (like "Cheers") everybody knows your name...
I'll take the knowing (and friendlier) gig ANY day!
