Estranged

Estranged:
adjective
1.
displaying or evincing a feeling of alienation; alienated.
Today would have been my sisters birthday.  She has been gone for a few years now.  We were estranged when she passed.
She was mad at me.  I have no real clue as to why.  She would not take my calls.  I should have tried harder.  I have such guilt.

You cannot control the choices of others. You still have your love; she died with her bitterness. It's a damn shame, but she chose it, not you.

Chris mirrors my sentiments exactly.
I've lost a good friend under such conditions...no reason as to "why", but after I did all I could to get things back together, and getting zero in return...you just move on.
You did the right thing, and there's nothing bad in any of that.

Stay safe down there, dear.

I'm so sorry. This hits close to home for me, as I too have an estranged sister and she's also mad at me and I don't know why. We haven't talked in about 2 years. I agree with the above, though, it is not your fault.

My Brother is the same way with me...
Neither my folks or myself know why....
he is civil in public when we are around each other (Rarely)
outside of that..... Nothing, no calls, letters, etc...
Best you can do is Do your Best and Be there if the "Call" ever comes.

If Not You Tried
So I can honestly say I have envisioned your reality,
living it... but will Not Feel Guilty, as I Love my Brother and am Ready and Willing to be here if he ever has a change of heart....
if not... Well, I have Tried

That's all we can Do
Best to you
Danny
