1. When is your usual bedtime?
Somewhere between 11:00 and 12:30, depending on how sleepy I am.
2. How many hours of sleep do you need?
If I get much less than 7, I'm pretty out of it the next day. I can't go too much over 8, though, or that ALSO makes me tired.
3. Do you usually remember your dreams?
I go through phases. For some time, I would remember every detail of multiple dreams per night. I've fallen off with that, and now I'd say I remember them about half the time.
4. How many pillows do you sleep with? One or zero, depending on if I'm sleeping on my side or my belly, which I rotate between.
5. What is the wildest dream you've ever had?
Dreams are always wild and weird-- at least mine are. (Sometimes people tell me OMG I HAD THE WEIRDEST DREAM and the only thing separating it from literal reality is some minor detail like 'My hair was blue!' My dreams are usually in some totally different dimension that defies that normal rules of logic, I can't even begin to compare them to waking life). Consequently, it's hard to pick one that is any more wild than the rest.

Hi There!
Wow, it's been a while. **cough** Excuse me while I brush the dust off of everything in here. It is a bit of a mess, can't imagine where all this crap comes from, especially when no one has been home!
I've been away from my blog for a while. The first part of the month has been pretty tough and things don't seem to be getting much better. I have been wandering around reading blogs, not commenting much, but I have been reading you guys...and there is always drama going on in the blogosphere. I don't need drama. I need humor, fun, all the good things that go on. I want to spit my coffee through my nose onto my computer screen when I read someone's blog.
So, come on guys, give me a hand....do something funny...'mkay??

5 on Friday
1. What song would you sing to your newborn child? (OR if you already had a child, which song did you sing to him/her?)
I sang "Hush Little Baby" and "Rock a bye" to my kids.
2. How do you think animals think? (i.e. in animal language, human language, etc.)
I think animals think in whatever their primary sense is. I think they think in terms of scent and sound rather than words or images.
3. As a child, did you have a dream to make a difference in the world? Can you describe your dream?
Can I not still have that sort of dream now? When I was a kid I didn't really care that much about the world. It was only once I got older that I did. Maybe a better regard for all other living things.
4. Do you believe in God/a Higher Being
Anyone who can look at a sunset and think otherwise is crazy. So Yes.
5. Do you believe in aliens?
Meh...I think there might be other intelligent life forms out there. But aliens like you see in movies? No.

Why is it so hard to be positive?
My day started with a negative phone call from a friend. Even her tone of voice was negative when she was the phone. Dealing with that much negative emotion first thing in the morning took something out of me. And when I called another friend to discuss something she was tired and negative.
So I thought, OK, I am going to be positive even if I need to overcome other peoples’ negativity. This is making me realize how important it is for us to be positive.
Since the beginning of this year, I've been more conscientious about incorporating positivity into my life. I can’t get let myself get sucked into the negativity that I'm exposed to every day. For me at least. :) I find that when I feel positive, it spreads to people around me. And things work better for everyone.
It is so easy to believe the worst and be negative but It takes hard work to be positive.
Simple, yet powerful. Be positive! There is always something good that can come out of a situation

Monday with Morgan
For some reason Morgan calls me Papaw. This is a few pictures of her visit last night. A very nice lady gave me the Lego wagon. I must say it was a real hit. She built a tower as tall as she is. It is so much fun watching her. She played and played .. then her daddy said time to pick up. and she picked up all her toys by herself and took the bag of cookies I had baked for her and Corbin and off she went all hugs and kisses and smiles. I look forward to Sundays.
