How many do you remember?



Head lights dimmer switches on the floor.
Ignition switches on the dashboard.
Heaters mounted on the inside of the fire wall.
Real ice boxes.
Pant leg clips for bicycles without chain guards.
Soldering irons you heat on a gas burner.
Using hand signals for cars without turn signals.

I might be older than dirt but those memories are some of the
best parts of my life.

I remember ALL of them...vividly!
1) And Beeman's (pepsin) Gum.
4) 8oz bottles that cost a NICKEL!
5) Play "G5" again...!
6) And the FREE (huge) chunks of ice they gave to us kids!
9) Wore them more than KEDS
11) FOUR channels *if* you got PBS!
13) And Buffalo Bob and Clarabel
14) STILL have a few..and the "adapters" for the hole.
16) the PRE-stereo days
17) STILL have two of them too
18) Smelly as hell
20) The Clipper...a tri-color car
22) Cabela's still sells them
23) Last one I went to was in the early 70s...a CLINT EASTWOOD night (4 movies)...and we snuck in the trunk to get in...LOL
24) Golden Hawk & Avanti...damn nice cars
25 Mom got her arm caught in our old stand up maytag w/ the WOODEN ringers on top...we got rid of it RIGHT after that.

That took me WAY down memory lane, dear.

OOOOh My!! I am older then dirt!!Remember Beanie Boy with the cap and propeller on top? My son still has his from the 60's And about the chunk's of ice, my dad worked for Ray's creamery for 46 yrs,and I remember going on the truck with him and he would give the kid's ice and also little bottle's of chocolate milk.... How I wish I had a Ray's creamery bottle, any size for the good old memories...Thank's Norma K for the wonderful memories!!
