Well my good and faithful Dell had developed some issues, which may or may not be fatal.
A new Dell is on order and will be here soon. I may or may not be back in a few days, depending on
how hard it is for this old lady to learn a new operating system. Win7 shouldn't be that hard.. fingers crossed. See you soon.

Yeah, that's the problem with ALL this technology these days...changes, changes, and even MORE ...changes.
At least with things like automobiles, the BASIC PREMISE remains relatievly UNchanged...as in HOW TO DRIVE the damn thing.
(well, maybe not with SOME drivers in this city...LOL)
We still use Win XP, and if we have to get a new 'puter, I would change teh O/S over to the older XP in a heartbeat...because THAT works (and damn well).
