Spring Haiku and Friday’s Devastation.

Listen, do you hear it?

Birds singing, wind whispering

Spring is coming quickly.

Tiny blades of grass peeking

Uncurling their leaves skyward

Welcoming the Spring.

Birds fly here and there

They make nests for little ones

Spring, the time for rebirth.

Look, do you see it?

Mother Earth getting ready

To spring forth new life.

This past Friday was a day that brought tragedy to so very many families in our state and those of our neighboring states. It is heartbreaking to see the footage of areas of complete devastation. Lives, families, and towns torn apart. It is natural for me to want to reach out and help these families who lost so much. 39 precious lives lost at last count. I urge each of you to give if you can and if you can’t, then keep them in your prayers. I support the Salvation Army. If you can help please do.

The images are heartbreaking. Praying for everyone affected. Donating to The Salvation Army is an excellent way to help.

As much as I enjioy the Japanese culture, I could never reallty figure out the whole HAIKU thingy...
As to the tornadoes?
Seems like a REPLAY of JOPLIN, MO from LAST year...around the EXACT SAME TIME.

Donations to ANY agency that is earnestly assisting those TRULY in need is welcome, but never forget about how much good you can also do ON YOUR KNEES (with prayer).

A call for untiy is needed as these are our fellow men and women who have, and are still suffering such a terrible loss.

Good "call to arms".

Stay safe down there.

Bob , As to the other agency's MORE of your donations percent wise will get to those thet need them will, if you donate to Salvation Army. The Army does not waist money on high paid CEO's like red cross.
