I assume that many of you have our Flag displayed either in or
outside of your home. But how many of you walk past it every morning and salute it,
thank God for it, or even think of the American blood that was shed for that flag?
Do that for me tomorrow, will you?

Whenever I have my flag out, I always salute it when it first goes up...and then every time I pass it and look at it, my mind salutes it religiously.
And yes, I even hum the bugle call: "Retreat of the colors" when taking it down at sunset.
Some habits are hard to break (thankfully).
