The Westboro Baptist Church is an example of true evil. The Supreme Court ruled yesterday with an 8-1 majority that the first amendment protects the rights of these sick, twisted, hate filled, individuals to protest, which overruled a lawsuit by a man whose son’s funeral was picketed by this hateful group. It is hard, almost impossible, to justify allowing this group of disgusting human beings to continue there crusade against our fallen men and women in uniform. I feel there is only one way to a solution to this. Ignore them. If the news media quits giving them print and air time, if we pretend they are not there, that would remove their power and they would go away. I know this is impossible but it would work. They use hate and shock to gain publicity and get funding from other ignorant sociopaths. Ignore them please..Let families bury their loved ones in peace and dignity. Thoughts??

1. Yes, ignore them whenever possible. Their job as Satan's children is to distract you from your own faith.
2.Remenber that the act of Christians praying for their enemies allows them to prosper. So if they aren't being destroyed by a bolt from the blue- or the courts, then just smile and say we've done our job, no matter how personally distatseful it was.
3. Thank God that at least one justice (Alito) had common sense in the matter.
