Face book and the election

Today all I have is a couple questions about political ads and mudslinging on face book.
Would those political ads ever change your mind about what you think about the candidates and how you will vote?
Do you dislike negative ads as much as I do?
I look forward to your answers, be honest I can take it.

Y'know, as a veteran of sharing the good ones I get sent, I got thinking about that today. We joust and joust on FB but we'll never convince the other side they're wrong ( a lot of the time because either the debaters are non-researchers, ideologically blinded, or just plain dumb.) Me, I was brought up in a family where my dad's side brought arguing to an olympic-level spectator sport. Laurie doesn't enjoy it, so I get my fix on FB. I can only hope that fence sitters will be curious enough to investigate the coherent comments and try to make an informed decision. Instead of basing it on Brian Ross and Andrea Mitchell.

CW I do love a good debate but some people on my face book are downright nasty and name callers. I am sorry but act like that and I would never under any circumstances consider voting for your candidate. Thanks for sharing. And just for that I have a funny ad I will send you. Nkr

I don't do (and probably never WILL DO) F/B for JUST that "reason"...
I'm sick and tired of the uninformed (by choice or lack of knowledge) spouting off extraneous vitriol when they don't even know their a$$ from a hole in the ground.

The political ADS (themselves) don't sway me one way OR the other...it's when someone says ONE thing that we find out is a outright LIE...and then states they NEVER said it, or deflects it with some lame-a$$ excuse to attack something else.

Our attention has been diverted ENOUGH!

I look at a candidate's CHARACTER, their (to-date and future) IDEAS, PLANS, AGENDA, and SOLUTIONS.

To constantly attack a PERSON rather than debate the ISSUES we face in America is a waste of time and breath (imho).

But, I'm a pot-stirrer who prefers the plain old TRUTH.

Good food for thought today.

Stay safe down there.

politics on fb seems to just aggravate people. I use fb just to catch up, post photos. It's not a serious forum for real discussion. And no, I don't think the arguments change anybody's mind.

I think I am a reasonable person and I will politely listen to your point. But your point will not change my views in any way shape or form. I believe in my views and my core values will NOT change.

While I try very hard NOT to get into political debates on FB, I will occasionally share someone's post onto my post. There is a lot of stuff that comes up on my page that are of the opposite party, because a lot of my friends are of the opposite party. So I feel I have that right to express my opinion as much as they have. I'm not asking anyone to agree with me, but I feel its my right to disagree with them. I will not ever argue politics or religion, unlike my husband who will argue about anything. lol
